Fleet Feet Battle for Independence Road Race 2026

The Pointe at Barclay is excited to once again be hosting the Fleet Feet Battle for Independence Road Race on Saturday, 7/4 starting at 7:30 a.m.!! 🏃👏🧨🎇 A big THANK YOU to The Pointe 14 – Stone Theatres for all they do to bring The Pointe at Barclay these awesome events! 

The Battle for Independence 5K & 1 Mile start and finish at The Pointe at Barclay along Independence Blvd. The race travels from The Pointe at Barclay to the shady Halyburton Park. The keyhole route takes advantage of shady paved trails and flat easy running. 🏃‍♂️🌳 Strollers and wheelchairs are Welcome!

🎽 RACE SWAG
If you register by June 1 and attend packet pickup, or race day, you will get a shirt in your size! Otherwise, you can choose from remaining sizes when you register.

🏅FINISHER MEDAL
All finishers in the 5K and 1 Mile will be awarded a medal at the Finish Line!

🎉 AWARDS & COSTUME CONTEST
Enjoy the Awards for the 1 Mile and 5K! Compete in the “Top 3 Best Dressed” Costume Contest!
